Silverstein embarked on a Canadian tour with two Canadian bands I Am Committing A Sin and Ten Second Epic along with Floridian labelmates A Day To Remember.
I Am Committing A Sin A Day To Remember Being the only American band on the tour did not stop A Day To Remember from taking over Toronto. Their third album Homesick has been getting a lot of great reviews and the band landed on the cover of Alternative Press in th
e September issue. Opening their set was the first track of their new record “The Downfall Of Us All” with the catchy intro that got the crowd chanting “da da da”. It was an understatement to say the set was energetic. Fists were in the air, mosh pits were formed as the post-hardcore/punk band launched into ground shattering breakdowns such as “I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?”, “The Danger In Starting A Fire” and “Fast Forward to 2012”. The band also performed “Have Faith In Me” and announced they will be making a video of it shortly. “The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle” ended the sweaty set with confetti.
It definitely seemed like A Day To Remember has upstaged Silverstein, however, these home-province heroes did not disappoint. It was the band’s first time the band properly played in Toronto in front of a massive crowd after their fourth album “A Shipwreck In The Sand” is released. The band played a bunch of old favourites such as “My Heroine”, “Smile In Your Sleep” and “November” from their debut album “When Broken Is Easily Fixed” which they haven’t played live in awhile. The very talented front man Shane Told was fairly active on stage when he delivered his powerful screams and emotional vocals. Hometown buddies I Am Committing A Sin performed “Born Dead” with the band. The band also covered OneRepublic’s hit “Apologize” (from Punk Goes Pop 2) with their twist to the song. After an encore of three songs, the show ended in “Bleeds No More” with Told singing among the excited fans grabbing him.

Silverstein
The Downfall Of Us All”, 當這post-hardcore/punk樂隊震撼地演出 “I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?”, “The Danger In Starting A Fire”和 “Fast Forward To 2012”的時候,群眾的情緒十分高漲,很多拳頭在空中揮舞,台前的人群都在推動對方。ADTR亦有表演 “Have Faith In Me” 並宣佈會為該曲拍攝音樂錄影。結束這滿身是汗的表演是 “The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle”,最後更有彩色碎紙射出,十分漂亮。
繼Silverstein第四隻大碟 “A Shipwreck In The Sand”推出之後,這是第一次正式的在多倫多眾多人前演出。 My Heroine”, “Smile In Your Sleep”和收錄於第一隻專輯“When Broken Is Easily Fixed”的“November”-樂隊己經有一陣子沒有表演該曲了。 I Am Committing A Sin在 “Born Dead” 的時候加入了演出。
